Lost Rivers is a brand-new brewery with an historic reference point. All Lost Rivers beers are named after the ‘lost’ rivers of London – rivers that are often overlooked or forgotten (Neckinger – the excellent Helles style lager) or now don’t exist overground (Walbrook– a refreshing Californian style Pale Ale).

Led by John Hadingham, Lost Rivers is the brainchild of a restauranteur, a haulier, a beverage industry professional and a free thinker who combined their experiences and ambitions with a dream of creating a new movement, a lifestyle around great food, great beer and a great night out!

Unusually for brewery, they ambitiously opened several excellent venues across London before they finished the brewery. While John would attest to the difficulties that has brought, we are certainly glad they did it this way! The Bermondsey Yard Café, in particular, is a great spot close to London Bridge station and close to the Bermondsey Beer Mile.

We look forward to celebrating the opening of Battersea brewery (and, of course, bar & restaurant!) very soon.

  • Neckinger
    Neckinger | Pilsner

Our second featured beer from Lost Rivers is an excellent, crisp, easy drinking Pilsner, Brewed with Lager and Vienna malts with a blend of new German hop varieties, Mandarina Bavaria and Huell melon. One bottle may not be enough…

  • Walbrook Pale Ale
Walbrook Pale Ale | Pale Ale (US)

This is a Californian style pale ale crafted from extra pale Marris Otter malt, flaked oats and Vienna malt, with the classic US hop varieties of Cascade and Centennial.

The beer pours pale gold with a pure white head. Aromas of citrus fruit and perfume are followed by full juicy, fruity malt and hops flavour and a mellow, low bitterness for extra drinkability and broad appeal.
