Crate is perhaps the archetypal London craft brewery. Edgy, semi-industrial location in Hackney? Check. Incredible bar serving stone baked pizzas? Check. Brilliant canned (and bottled) beers? Check. Great design? Check.
We are a particular fan of the Crate Sour beer - with it's subtle tones of passion fruit and hibiscus - but the whole range is excellent.
We look forward to showcasing a whole lot more in the future and enjoying some Pizza! We also thoroughly recommend going to Crate the next time there is a big concert at the Olympic Stadium, Stratford. It's got to be better than the usual suspects and then there is the beer and pizza...
Citra Sour | Sour3.5%
Born from brewhouse experimentation, this kettle sour has been inoculated with lactobacillus.
It has the perfect amount of zing and tang, is dry-hopped with Citra for aroma, and has a little dash of yuzu juice for added fruitiness. A refreshing and light drop on a sunny day, perfect for pairing with any meal.

Sharp and fruity, in the Belgian tradition, the distinctive flavour here of this Sour Ale is Hibiscus. It imparts a distinctive lemony-tart, berry-rich aspect that couples perfectly with the natural acidity of the beer.
