Colchester Brewery was founded in 2011 by three brewing industry veterans, Tom Knox (Head Brewer), Roger Clark (Head of Sales) and Andy Bone (Chairman) with the aim of using the "double-drop" brewing process to create a range of beers for lovers of real ale brew.

Since then, the brewery has gone from strength to strength, with cask beers such as ‘Colchester No. 1 Bitter’ and the excellent ‘Brazilian Porter’ winning numerous awards.

Located in Wakes Colne, just outside Colchester, the brewery is very close to the Chappel viaduct, home to the Chappel’s Beer Festivals.

And Hoppily used to play football with Roger's son, Andy, both of whom are Spurs supporters - we like that a lot.

Genuine Vanilla and Coffee flavourings (hence the name Brazilian) give this Porter a very distinctive and beautifully balanced taste.
