Billericay, Essex
Year Founded:
2012

Billericay (Greater Anglia)

Launched in 2012, Billericay Brewing Co. has become an important member of the Essex craft beer fraternity – both through its own diverse range (via the Essex Beer Shop/Taproom which also offers beers from other Essex & London based breweries) and by opening its doors to aspiring local brewers (notably Keppels Brewery from Rayleigh, Essex).

There’s a wide range of beers from the brilliantly named and Ian Dury referencing ‘Billericay Dickie’ and ‘Rhythm Stick’, the ‘Billericay Blonde’ Golden Ale and the American hopped ‘Norsey Gold’ and ‘Mayflower Gold’ IPA.

Billericay is a true town centre microbrewery – located behind Waitrose off Billericay’s Georgian /Victorian high street. Well worth a trip (especially to their regular beer festivals).
